Planted on the banks of the Danube, between Aliman and Rasova - commune of Aliman, following the Bordeaux philosophy.

The taste preserves the olfactory aromas and adds notes of sage and dark chocolate. Its acidity is balanced by fine but pronounced tannins, a sign that the wine will have a long life.  It has a rich bouquet in which black cherry and black currant aromas stand out, along with coffee, hints of tanned leather, and white pepper.  
Suggested to pair with red meat - high fat content, spicy sauces, and spiced cheeses. The slightly rustic notes complement simple and savoury dishes, such as stews.
